These terms describe, in general, how the Elvir Shipping service works. By handing us your cargo you accept these conditions. The specific conditions of each shipment (price, coverage and payment method) are agreed with you when quoting and dropping off the cargo.
We receive your cargo at our office in Benton, Arkansas — or pick it up at your address in Arkansas for an additional cost — and manage its transport to the delivery address in Honduras, in any of the 18 departments. International transport is carried out through a licensed ocean shipping agency.
Quotes are free and do not commit you to anything. The price of a shipment is confirmed when the cargo is received, based on its size, weight and type.
We do not accept firearms or ammunition, drugs, explosives, hazardous materials, or any item whose export or import is prohibited by the laws of the United States or Honduras.
The sender is responsible for truthfully declaring the contents of the cargo and for being its rightful owner. All cargo may be inspected by the customs authorities of both countries.
The times given when quoting are estimates. They may vary for reasons beyond our control, such as customs inspections, weather or carrier schedules.
Pack your cargo well: it is the best protection. The coverage conditions for loss or damage are explained and agreed when you drop off the cargo — ask us when quoting. Any claim must be filed as soon as the problem is detected, with the shipment information at hand.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States.
